If you had to cut costs and keep one subscription would it be your internet service?
Just a question, not that I thankfully am not in that situation yet or that I am implying that you are, but I just think I would keep my internet service to the very last.

we were just speaking of letting our internet and cellphone go because of the high gas prices plus other everyday bills that we need to survive. times are hard, and i'd rather do without something i dont really need.
I consider internet a necessity and can't imagine being so hard up that I had to cut that.
My computer is my little getaway at the end of a work day, so I could not give that up. I'd rather get rid of my cable before my Internet!
i would have my direct tv shut off before i had my dsl turned off
I am in the process of purchasing my first home. I have been trying to cut a lot of costs since last year until I move in to my new house.
List of items I cut off:
1. Cut off Sirius sat radio and blockbuster - 1 year ago
2. Swtiched to DSL instead of cable - 1 year ago
3. Switched to pre-paid cell service - 5 months ago
4. Changed cable service $70 service to basic $13.75 - last month
I saved over $1500 since last year.
Surprisingly, I did not miss any of them. I don't even miss watching TV.
The only thing I will not cancel is my gym membership, pre-paid cell, AAA and DSL.
