this works but seriously bye a pflow filter run a tube down to ur front bumper slap the filter on best cold air possible without hooking a turbo or supercharger

  2. davison1021 says:

stfu man u save ur money and ill add my cold air for 80 bucks and gain 20 hp good day to you haha

  3. cudjoe23015 says:

To sum it all up, this is a crock of bullshit.
    Save your money people…

Everything that reduces engine work will increase fuel economy and power to a certain point… but it also depends if the car’s ECU is Speed Density or Mass airflow… If it’s Speed density (MAP sensor) the PCM won’t see the extra air coming and will run a litle more lean… if it have a Mass Airflow meter, it will see the extra air coming in and adjust the fuel mixture… plus, the airflow meter is considered to be a restriction to a certain point!!!

and vaporizing the fuel? it would burn better, but the vaporization would take more energy than the better burn would save. it is true that there are better ways to save gas, like selecting the highest gear possible at all times, but more dense air makes a more complete burn possible, and this product seems somewhat credible. 30 hp out of a 6.0 is believable and what like 15 miles per gallon? damn

and that last comment was a response to outlander1 being a retard. his name is fitting, because he must live in the woods where no one has cars. its pretty outlandish for him to think that the more backpressure, the more fuel economy. and heating the air? no. you want good flow but not open downpîpe or anything and the cooler the air and leaner the a/f mixture, the better. not the more back pressure the better.

turbo’s do not increase gas mileage. civic stock gets 30-35 miles per gallon. civic turbo gets 15-25 mpg. people say turbos increase efficiency because they produce POWER more efficiently than super chargers or naturally aspirated engines. think about it dipshit without boost the engine works harder to breathe, and with boost the engine burns gas incredibly fast. and for your information, i got a catless 3″ 1 muffler exhaust, and my mileage increased by 5 mpg.

  8. spark300c says:

colder intake air gives better fuel economy to point because it improves the thermal efficiency of the engine

  9. Killm4Ya says:

the intake sounds good but i could get a easy 20kw gain out of a HKS pod filter with piping & tuning

  10. schultzee101 says:

wow… we have the The technology so why don’t we use it…

Is it maybe the world would go under if we all together stop using fuel?

    NEW , LOL

    does it really work?????

  14. 22OHV says:

That was created 20 years ago! It’s not “new.” And it improves mpg by 5%.
Ps. ugly rims on the GTO.

  15. Outlander11 says:

Oh, I have my facts straight, CAIs do not help “mix” the air and fuel. In the old days with carbs that technology was tried since the fuel is sucked in above the intake manifold and has more time to vaporize(mix). With an MPFI car, the injectors are right at the valve, swirling air will not help mileage with only an inch of contact. Free flowing exhaust will KILL mileage and low end torque. The reason? No backpressure, no unburnt fuel is pushed back into chamber to re-burn. Nice GTO.

  16. ilovefastcarslots says:

    yeah actually they do
    get your facts straight
a free flowing exhaust that is not to extreme will give you better milage.
and cold air intakes maybe but just a filter wont, cai’s just increase velocity and actually help mix all the fuel and create more swirling in the combustion chamber.

  17. Outlander11 says:

CAI’S DO NOT GIVE YOU BETTER FUEL ECONOMY!!! they reduce gas mileage! Listen to yourself “more volume” duh, more air = more fuel! nice car, but if you want to SAVE on fuel, pre-HEAT the intake air, or think of a way to vaporize the fuel! vapor burns, liquids do not, there is no oxidizer! Why do you think turbos and cats INCREASE mpg? because they cause back-pressure, forcing some of that 80% of that lost energy back into the combustion chamber instead of out the tail pipe! grr…

nice gto. i had a 06 gto but it was rear ended by some old asain lady.

bro I’m agreeing to save gas.its really important to save gas and what an invention this to save gas. Well done!
