What are some simple or creative ways to save money?
I am a medical student who also takes care of my elderly grandparent on a fixed income and handle his finances, and I need and want to know ways on how to save money substantially. Phone, electricity, internet, groceries, etc. Please share with me your tips and as always I greatly appreciate your help. Thank you kindly.

Before jumping in and buying, renting, obligating check with at least 3 other places to see if you can get it cheaper or more services etc. For the grandparents always express that they are seniors and would like the Senior discount. Now for them ask for everything from Utilities to Real Estate Taxes to Eating out and so forth. Same goes with there medical expenses make a case with the person you talk to that there on fixed income and don't have much money many times you could get 20-40% off there bills. Turn the a/c up a few degrees and the heat down a few degrees in the wintertime. combine trips out for supplies groceries and such.
Keep studying and someday you won't have to skimp by but you'll enjoy the game of getting a better deal than the others that don't try for a better deal and have much more than the rest.
